We’re in post-production and in truth, once the film is in the can and the rest of the cast and crew move onto other projects….one starts to feel a little bit lonely. Like- the rest is up to me. Which it is. We’re trying to get this Kickstarter Campaign going- with less than 20 Days to go and still $4,000 needed but you never know. Plus…we’re still hoping for a miracle. Either way- we’re going to see this project through to Festivals. Fingers crossed.

It’s easy to make good work when you surround yourself with a very talented crew.
Also, by easy I mean working hard in comfort.

I’ve always been in love with Anne of Green Gables. As a kid I tried to use her way of thinking as a, sort of, guideline. I was a silly dreamer and I often ended up in scrapes and embarrassing situations.

Looking back it’s funny- I mean, I hope those stories never get out (unless I’m documenting them in my memoir) but well, I was a funny kid.
Now I take one very important lesson from Anne Shirley. She always used to say, “tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes…” I believe that. Everything always looks fresh and shiny and new in the morning. It’s true. Today I’m looking at projects I worked on all weekend- I’m seeing them with a fresh eye and I’m regarding them with a new appreciation.
Everyday I constantly have to remind myself that I do belong. And I am talented.
